Have you ever seen this logo anywhere? It's normal, La ligne ouverte (means "open line", this name refers to an open link between different people, places, cultures, ... It is also an open vision of the digital world and access to it) has just officially started its activity. But what do we do?

This association was born from a pre-existing work carried out by Shabnam Rahimian, coordinator and curator of artistic projects and by Antonin Jousse, Ph.D. student and artist. This Franco-Iranian duo had the idea of developing collaborations between artists from these two countries. The Digital Realities project which allowed the collaboration between Antonin Jousse and Ali Honarvar was born from this objective. La ligne ouverte was therefore designed to continue and perpetuate this work and this network between international artists. The main objective of the association is to make two or more artists from different countries and cultures work together.
The role of La ligne ouverte is to accompany, finance and disseminate this collaborative work on an international scale. The association also develops field work in the places where it presents artists by developing mediation and pedagogical tools for local audiences.
